Fascias and Soffits explained
Fascias
You may never know you needed fascia boards but you do! They are the long boards that attach to the point where the roof meets the walls. As they support the guttering and lower edge of the roof tiles, they need to be robust, long lasting and low maintenance. The uPVC fascias that we supply are all of those things. They will not warp or crack and need no painting, sanding or treatment. They are ready to install with little disruption, and our range of colours and finishes ensures that they will match your house perfectly.
Soffits
A soffit is the board that runs underneath the fascia and is the most visible part of the guttering of your house from street level. It must be ventilated to ensure condensation does not build up in the roof space so it’s important to choose a good quality product. Our soffits have built-in ventilation slots – a popular choice – or it can have separate vents. As with our fascias, uPVC soffits supplied by Trade Frames are long-lasting, weather resistant and extremely low maintenance. Choose your colour and finish to match your fascias for a seamless look to your home.
